In addition, this position will provide support to Tropicana’s North American facilities and serve as the primary contact for all Security matters. This position will report to the Director of Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security and provide oversight regarding technical, programmatic, and strategic development for security programs.Accountabilities:· Lead the Tropicana Threat Assessment Team to continually assess locations and develop prevention strategies.· Monitors crime trends in the areas of our locations, updates assessments, and prioritizes prevention strategies.· Acts as a liaison and develop strong working relationships with facility leaders across North America.· Develop, execute, & ensure compliance with Tropicana’s Security Standards.· Lead the relationship with TBG’s security contractor to ensure proper staffing levels are met and training is provided.· Manage a team of Security Supervisors to ensure Tropicana facilities have necessary support to meet our standards.· Engage with and support EHS and HR partners in the field along with location contacts to ensure proper support and engagement.· Serves as a liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies concerning safety, security, or law enforcement issues at our locations.· Build capability of site resources to support implementation of Security systems.· Maintains an ongoing knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, and ordinances related to our facilities.· Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans for security related incidents in partnership with HR and EHS teams.· Perform periodic reviews of Security data to develop and present overall trends to facility leadership teams.· Develop long term strategic plan for the Security organization.· Prepares and manages budgets, perform investigative work, and develops, implements crime prevention programs.· Establish company security policies and procedures and lead execution across all facilities.· Manage department budget and review as needed to ensure goals are met.· Lead the company Emergency Notification System and process.Qualifications/RequirementsJob Qualifications:· 12 years applicable Security or law enforcement experience without a degree. Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.· Solid and demonstrable employee relations experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.· 5+ years experience overseeing groups or departments consisting of many full and part time security staff. Prior formal management experience required.· Knowledge of Department of Homeland Security regulations.· Ability to work well in a collaborative and matrix team environment.· Experience with Microsoft Office products. Digital fluency with the Microsoft Office suite required.· Ability to work long hours with varied schedules as necessary.· Ability to travel approximately 25%.Preferred Job Qualifications:· Security management experience in a related industry, including consumer packaged goods, distribution/transportation, manufacturing or grocery industry.· Certification in First Adi, CPR, and AED.· Security related or Science degree.· ASIS Certification or related credential.
