We are searching for an experienced Process Engineer. You will play an essential role in the Melt Shop and Roaster configurations. Your expertise will be paramount during the commissioning, start-up, and post start-up operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and innovation in processes.
Qualifications:2+ years in a similar role. Experience in heavy manufacturing is an advantage.Experience in process, technical, and analytical domains.Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiment (DOE) methodologies.Strong project management capabilities.Adept at problem-solving and analytical thinking.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with MS Project Management, Primavera, Minitab, and Thermo-Calc software.
Essential DutiesSafety and Compliance: Uphold all safety and environmental standards, policies, and procedures. Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Technical Support: Collaborate on the final design, configuration, and installation of the Melt Shop and Roaster equipment and processes.Process Improvement: Work with Operations and Engineering teams to optimize production, reduce costs, and implement continuous improvement strategies for the Melt Shop and Roaster operations.Data Management: Collect, measure, and analyze data using standard scientific and statistical methods. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports tracking key operational metrics.Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk analyses of equipment, processes, and systems to preempt potential issues.
Education:Bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering or chemical engineering is mandatory. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
