📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Trueline's client, a storied home construction company in the heart of Texas, is conducting a careful search for a Senior Accountant in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing balance sheet accounts, income statements, and AP processing.
As the Senior Accountant, You Will:Prepare and generate regular financial and operational reports.Assist in closing tasks for various reporting periods.Manage general ledger data and create financial statements.Coordinate payment processes and communicate with vendors.Oversee accounts payable and handle monthly interest payments.Prepare insurance reports on a regular basis.Facilitate the integration of new companies into the portfolio.Manage partnership income and investment entries.Handle annual property tax payments.Aid in ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
You'll Succeed As the Senior Account If You Have:Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting2+ years of experience in a staff/senior accounting roleA thorough understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and interpretation of financial statementsDemonstrated experience in tax accounting and reportingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, intermediate in Adobe Acrobat, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointAdaptability and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of peopleA commitment to continuous learning and customer serviceAn ability to embrace differences, be accountable, and proactively problem-solveThe utmost professional integrity

Our Client Offers:Base compensation of $80,000 - $100,000 + bonusHybrid work option for the right candidate
