Our client is a highly profitable lower middle-market innovator of food products currently experiencing substantial growth. The business has grown organically with a reputation for creative food engineering and market sensibility accompanied by effective management of domestic production. The company has experience exponential growth and is looking to continue to drive the tremendous organic growth trajectory with a stronger foundational accounting and finance function, acting as a strategic partner within the executive team.
We are seeking an operationally focused Chief Financial Officer experienced in implementing robust process, procedures and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have had previous success building out high-performance, best-in-class finance and accounting teams and, in particular, will have experience building out a robust FP&A function with insightful KPI dashboards and analytics. Experience implementing new system integrations and upgrades will be a significant asset. This position requires an in-the-trenches leader with a in-depth understanding of operations, able to direct and influence across the business from laying out new go-to-market channels to managing effectively managing inventory up and down the supply chain. The CFO will be responsible for all monthly reporting packages, financial statements and budget/forecast processes.
