Chief Financial Officer – Rapidly Growing Private Equity backed Food and Nutritional Products, 78723

Our client is a well-established Food and Nutritional Products distribution business with strong importing capabilities serving consumer goods retailers. They boast significant category dominance within their sector working with both large and small retailers and have maintained long term vendor relationships which have generated steady YoY growth. The company has recently been acquired by a blue chip private equity investor who is eager to follow the incredible growth trajectory for the business within markets experiencing double digit tailwinds. We are seeking an operationally focused Chief Financial Officer to oversee all accounting and financial reporting with experience coming up the ranks within multi-location manufacturing, including exposure to best practice environments. The ideal candidate will have previous success building out high-performance, best-in-class finance and accounting teams and will have previously developed a strong FP&A function, completed new system integrations and developed highly successful operational metrics. This position requires an in-the-trenches leader able to wear multiple hats, maintaining an intimate understanding of operations including product lines with high SKU counts and high volume commodity purchases while working with minimal resources. The CFO will be responsible for all monthly reporting packages, financial statements and budget processes. Preference will be given to candidates with previous private equity experience and experience leading the acquisition process including diligence and full integrations.
