Vice President M&A - Multi-Sector Industrial Equipment Platform – Private Equity Roll Up
Our client is a highly respected, market-leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial equipment within multiple sectors. Under new private equity ownership, the business has begun to significantly expand and grow through an ambitious targeted acquisition strategy. We are seeking a Vice President, M&A to partner with the company’s Chief Executive Officer to support the evaluation and due diligence of a growing stream of acquisition opportunities. This role will work closely in conjunction with both the CEO and CFO providing in-depth analysis on acquisition targets aiming to build out and drive the company’s strategic vision.
We are seeking a driven, process-oriented Transaction Services professional with a demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and evaluate acquisition opportunities and present to Board level audiences. The VP M&A will have strong project management skills with in-depth experience conducting the end-to-end due diligence aspect of the acquisition (M&A) process including networking, business assessment, valuation, contract negotiation, integration planning and post-closing issue resolution.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the fast-paced transaction services space leading multiple M&A initiatives concurrently from start to finish. Prior experience in the corporate development/ business development, or in the investment banking or private equity sectors, will be of benefit but not a must have. This is a highly attractive position for someone interested in joining and growing with an entrepreneurial, private equity sponsored company experiencing significant growth. The role will require frequent domestic travel.
This position offers a highly attractive compensation package which includes a base salary and bonus and long-term incentive.
