Senior Accountant (39445)
Our growing client in the gaming industry is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! This person will partner closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller to improve processes, lead accounting projects, and help manage the team. Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 (commensurate with experience)
Responsibilities:Drive month end close activities and prepare financial statements Review journal entries, reconciliations, and other work produced by staff on the teamSupport the annual budget process, contribute to forecasts, run regular reporting, and dig into discrepancies Assist in assessing current procedures to ensure accordance with GAAP and find areas for improvementInitiate accounting optimizations and lead ad hoc projectsCoach and mentor junior members on the accounting team
Qualifications:3+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing and cost accounting experience strongly preferred Must have strong month-end close experienceFamiliarity with Oracle or a similar ERP is requiredProblem solver and eager to learn & grow
