ROLE SUMMARY: The State Manufacturing Manager directs, manages, and optimizes the overall operations of the cultivation and production facility in Hancock, MD. This position establishes systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity, and sets performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals. This position leads the development and deployment of manufacturing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement. Additionally, the General Manager ensure robust building safety and security procedures and training are in place and that operations are in compliance with all required regulations. This position directs support functions to ensure alignment with overall plant operations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee daily operations of the business unitAccomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; and making mid-course correctionsCoordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, cultivation, and technical services policies and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staffCoordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reportsProvide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unitEnsure the overall delivery and quality of the cannabis products for Trulieve consumersMaintain budgets and optimize expensesOversee key hiring and talent development programsMaintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standardsEvaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talentCommunicate strategy and results to the unit's employeesReport key results to corporate officersEngage with corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planningEnsure employees work productively and develop professionallyEvaluate and improve operations and financial performanceEnsure staff follows health and safety regulationsProvide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)Review and enforce all Trulieve policies and standard operating proceduresProvide reports on a regular basis (at least quarterly) and as directed or requestedMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.Proactive in understanding and educating changing regulations, laws, and best practices, as they apply to the business and industryPerform other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met. Due to the nature of our business, it is advocated that when representing Trulieve that our professionalism meets the needs of the medical patient base that we respectively serve. To uniformly align with the organization, an individual must be able to provide a level of communication that aligns respectively with the diversification of our patients which may exhibit opportunities to assess the situation and apply meaningful service. In addition, must be able to quickly identify and insert additional support where needed to deescalate situations without compromising Trulieve’s objective in serving our patient base with excellent customer service.Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.

WORK SCHEDULE:55+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs.Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.Some travel required.
