Responsibilities
Hours of operation: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Job Summary
Establishes an environment that encourages wellness with a commitment to employee health and safety.Broad categories of responsibility include preventive, diagnostic, educational, therapeutic activities.The Employee Health Program includes pre-employment physicals, communicable disease histories, illness surveillance, immunizations, TB skin testing, and Blood and Body Fluid Exposure Protocol and follow-up, within the scope and practice of an ARNP.
Qualifications
Education/Regulatory Requirements: Master’s degree in Nursing or has been grandfathered in with Board of Nursing. Current Licensure as ARNP in the State of Florida. Skills: 1 yr experience as a Nurse Practitioner and 2+ years’ experience as an RN. Prior experience as an Employee Health Nurse preferred. Homecare Homebase software experience a plus. Good teaching skills Professional Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
