Sr. Accounting Manager

We're looking for an experienced and detail-focused Senior Accounting Manager to join our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), a CPA license, and prior experience in public accounting. Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a huge plus.

Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting operations, making sure we follow GAAP.Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial statements.Managing external auditsSupport a team of accounting professionals, encouraging teamwork and high performance.Work with different teams to help with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Regularly review transactions to identify and resolve any issues quickly.Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide needed documentation.Develop and document standard operating procedures.Set up and maintain effective internal controls to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.Stay informed about changes in accounting rules and make sure we comply with new standards.Evaluate and improve accounting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.Assist with special projects assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation.Good understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles to complex transactions.Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued.Comfortable using accounting software, with experience in NetSuite being a plus.Strong people skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance departments.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Good at solving problems and analyzing situations.Understanding of internal controls and risk management.Able to work well in a team.
