Our Client is hiring a Data Concern Management System Tester on a contract basis. This role is hybrid requiring 2-3 days onsite in Tampa, FL.
Rate: $70-75/hr w2
Job Description Client ISG Data Engineering team is looking for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven business analyst to join our team. Our team is to facilitate a seamless user experience, enhanced data quality, and simple solutions. We are the intermediaries between the systems end-users and the technology development team, playing a critical role in helping to understand business requirements and translating them into simple, feasible solutions. You will gain in-depth knowledge of Client's systems, data management and compliance frameworks, and have the opportunity to work with stakeholders and data governance SMEs to test and implement new and/or enhanced system solutions. The ideal candidate to join our team will have user acceptance testing (UAT) experience in financial services; prior experience working in a risk management-related function is desirable. We are passionate about exploring systems, questioning requirements and data, and bringing the team together to drive the best solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Independently analyze business processes and translate them into test cases and scripts • Independently gather business/product knowledge to support the review of user stories / functional requirements • Support the development of a holistic UAT approach to ensure user requirements have been clearly executed • Execute and/or coordinate UAT execution based on testing scripts • Report on UAT progress and outcomes, including developing presentations to senior stakeholders • Review issues & gaps identified in UAT with business and technology stakeholders to bring those items to closure • Support the preparation and review of documentation (including communications, training, user guides, etc.) Qualifications: • 7-10 years relevant experience in the financial industry or related technology or business analytics role • Experience in technology implementations, particularly developing testing processes, test scripts and user acceptance testing. • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive, able to navigate a complex organization • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of seniority • Comfortable working with multiple data sources and transforming into meaningful insights • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). SQL and data analytics are a plus. • Experience using JIRA, Confluence or other IT project management platforms is a plus • Experience with Agile/Scrum, database or visualization tools is a plus Education: • Bachelors degree • Advanced degree is a plus
