Summary:Doctors Medical Center Modesto, a leading comprehensive healthcare facility committed to community well-being, is seeking a dedicated Microbiology Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Reporting to the Laboratory Director and Technical Supervisors, the successful candidate will perform technical procedures and quality control in the Clinical Lab, operate and maintain instrumentation, and ensure accurate reporting. The role includes phlebotomy, clerical tasks, and adherence to regulatory standards while upholding the hospital's mission and philosophy.
Responsibilities:Perform technical procedures and quality control in the Clinical Lab.Operate and maintain instrumentation to ensure accurate results.Conduct phlebotomy and clerical tasks as required.Promote the hospital's mission and philosophy by interacting with patients, visitors, colleagues, and staff in a caring and courteous manner.Maintain confidentiality of all reports and patient samples' identification integrity.Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications:California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License.Previous experience in microbiology preferred.
Skills and Certifications:CA CLS licenseMicrobiology experience preferred
