Quality Control Technician
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
QC Tech ILocation: Hercules, CA. (On-Site)4-month assignment (potential to extend)Pay Rate: $28/hourM-F 8:00am-4:30pm
On behalf of our pharmaceutical client specializing in medical devices for the life sciences industry, we are seeking for a Quality Control Tech I that will perform routine Quality Control Assays in accordance with approved Procedures.
Duties:Compile data, analyze, and summarize results as well as troubleshoot assays, as required.Complete instrument and lab maintenance per schedule.Perform an inventory of testing materials and order as needed.Work closely with the team to complete required testing per schedule.Complete transactions in ERP system, including results recording.Train per SOP/WI.Performs basic pH, conductivity, particle, finished goods, shelf life, stability and pre-purchase/pre-qualification testing using pH meters, conductivity meters, electrophoresis, western blotting, and Elisa techniques.Performs QC functional AssaysRevise/Update QC Procedures and Work Instructions.Maintain 5s and uphold a safe work environment.
Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in science or associate Degree or college level course work in assigned technical discipline preferred.3+ years production or clinical laboratory experience, QC inspection experience preferred.Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment.Understanding of Good Manufacturing Process and Good Laboratory Practices.Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is required.
