Title: Accounting Analyst Location: Tysons Corner, VA Schedule: 40 hours per weekCompensation: $60,000-65,000 per year
Our client, a financial services firm, is looking to add an Accounting Analyst to their growing accounting department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. Successful incumbent will have experience with accounts payable and receivable.
Duties and Responsibilities:Accounts payable and receivableAnalyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basisAssist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variancesJournal entriesTax assistance and complianceMonth-end close assistance
Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university (preferred) 6+ months of accounting experience or an internship held in accounting (required)
