📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to join their team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for month-end close, financial reporting, managing the finance and accounting departments, and job costing analysis. The candidate we are looking for must be dynamic, fast learning, and willing to jump into any task to support the company to continue to be an industry leader. ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives.Collaborate with the Director of Finance to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing off-shored talent.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.Proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting.Experience with MS Dynamics Business Central – a plus.Experience with inventory.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
