Procurement Specialist (buyer/purchasing exp. req.) Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors • Develop and nurture strong relationships with suppliers • Work with vendors to optimize pricing, delivery schedules, and product quality• Evaluate schedules and inventory to accurately forecast demand for parts • Minimize lead times, excess inventory, and procurement costs• Implement quality control measures and address any quality issues promptly• Anticipate and proactively address supply chain disruptions or delays • Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and performance enhancement• Monitor vendor performance, track deliveries, and coordinate with internal teams• Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment and usher buy-in • Implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency

- 2+ years of automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing experience required • 3+ years of purchasing experience required • Well-versed in managing and negotiating with suppliers required • Able to work onsite daily required
