Safety Specialist (3+ years of process safety management (PSM) exp. req.) Description Our client, an industrial manufacturing company, is looking for a Safety Specialist to join their team outside of Ridgecrest, CA. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you’ll be responsible for implementing and improving health and safety procedures within their industrial plant. Because of the raw materials their team works with, they’re looking for candidates with a background in navigating process safety management OSHA regulations. To be successful in this role, you must be a dynamic speaker who can use their experience and passion to usher universal buy-in that allows for safety to be at the forefront of each decision. Safety Specialist (3+ years of process safety management (PSM) exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits, assess hazards, and enforce safety policies• Improve safety practices and policies as needed• Mentor employees on safety and advise management on critical issues • Ensure compliance with regulations and monitor performance• Develop expertise in safety policies and programs • Manage injury reporting and management• Provide necessary safety training to meet regulatory requirements• Identify, analyze, and control hazards to improve safety standards• Complete health and safety compliance reports• Track safety metrics and participate in incident investigations
