Job Details

This position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment that mixes or blends ingredients used in the manufacturing of food products while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

The Bread/Batter Operator is responsible for keeping the Revo full, rotating v-mag carts, and keeping pre-duster, batter and breader full of ingredients. Operator must provide group-leader with batch management information for the batter, breading when starting a new pallet. Bread/Batter Operator fills in for the Line Operator. Helps set-up, breakdown and washes equipment and area when necessary.

Requirements

Must be able to take appropriate actions if foreign material is found in the process.

Must be willing to perform paperwork accurately, and legible on paper or in plant-view.

Must be willing to rotate to other departments if needed.

Must be willing to perform physical duties which consist of bending, twisting, standing and walking.

Must be willing to work long hours and weekends if needed.

Must be willing to work in extreme conditions of heat, hot, humid to dry and cold conditions. Continuously lift batter and breading bags through-out the shift.

Must be willing to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must have good communication skills.

Must be willing to comply with all other requests from supervisor.

Must have 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 36 months to be considered.

Internal candidates will be considered before external candidates.

Rehire Consideration

Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.180 days (6 months) waiting period.
