📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Details
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and providing technical support for machine systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Candidate will perform preventive and repair maintenance on live haul cages including, but not limited to, installation and removal of winter panels, door replacement, door repair to include welding of broken doors and installation of new door brackets, replacement of door springs, repair of holes in wire, tops, sides, repair of cage fork tubes, repair/replacement of cage floors and other duties as assigned. This position will adhere to Tyson’s Animal Welfare Guidelines.
General mechanical and hand tool knowledge. Applicant who list any maintenance-related experience or education on the application or resume.
