FSQA and Laboratory Summer Intern

SUMMARY

Responsibilities will vary from performing one procedure or work instruction to a number of analytical chemistry or quality system procedures or work instructions in a Food Safety Laboratory. Precision and accuracy in performance of the work instructions and data collection is essential; must be able to maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements. Team member will be responsible for working with cross functional teams for enhanced business support. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRMENTS

Education: A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent with active enrollment in a college/university. Prefer college level courses or degree in Biology Microbiology Chemistry Food Science and or Physical Sciences.

Experience: Prefer laboratory experience.

Computer Skills: General knowledge of Windows Microsoft Office Applications.

Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Stand and or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break. Supervisory: N A

Position-Specific Requirements: This internship is a summer role where candidates are expected to work in person full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer. This is a paid internship located in Springdale, Arkansas.
