TVDC -Yard Driver Opr - D Shift - Full Time

Job Summary: This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Team member will be required to use all safety devices such as dock locks/wheel checks/jack stands.Team member must be willing to ensure trailers are sealed.Team member will be required to do routine temperature checks of trailers.Team member must follow all safety rules.Team member must work well with others.

Requirements

Team member must have trailer driving experience.Team member must have a good attitude and good attendance.Team member must be self-motivated.Must be able to drive 18 Wheelers on the yard.Must be 18 years of age, have a current valid state issued driver’s license no DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months and fewer than 4 points based on evaluation system.Rehires must have no more than 3 rehires and must wait a 90 day period before rehire.
