Duties
Supervisor issues instructions on work sequences, procedures, methods, and deadlines, and relies on the incumbent to assure that other members of the group carry out work assignments. Supervisor is available to provide information or decisions regarding problems that may arise during work. Serves as a banquet captain and working leader of 3 or more servers in accomplishing trades and labor work. As banquet captain, incumbent reviews the banquet event ordering requirements between the customer and the hotel. Performs other duties as assigned.

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities. Incumbent must be able to lift, carry and balance food, beverage and banqueting items weighing 10 lbs. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 40lbs. Must be available for rotating shifts, daytime, nights and weekends. A pre-employment physical is required.
Qualifications
Six months experience in banqueting. Must be friendly and outgoing. Must work quickly and efficiently in order to serve guests.
Experience must be reflected in your RESUME to receive credit.

PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
