Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. Triages patients and responds appropriately according to protocol and nursing assessment. Clinical Nurse must be able to work variable shifts including 12-hour shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, early mornings, and evenings as needed.

Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience.This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years RN clinical experience in Ambulatory, Emergency Department, or Acute Care setting.BSN degree.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Proficiency with EPIC.
License/Certification
Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of CaliforniaActive American Heart Association CPR CertificationACLS
