📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Opening Summary
Under the guidance and direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor, this position performs routine cleaning duties in patient care areas, public areas, floor care and trash removal/linen distribution.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Demonstrates respect for the customer, both internal and external. Immediately informs supervisor of issues and problems. Demonstrates compliance with all HCAHPS behaviors to allow patients and families to have an excellent hospital experience. Completes assigned work as scheduled in allotted time frame. Engages in departmental/hospital committees, PI projects, educational offerings to peers and mentoring/precepting of new team members. Attends staff meetings and completes all required competencies and mandatory education as assigned. Seeks training, educational, certification and enhancement in area focus/specialty. Demonstrates behavior standards that enhance positive interactions with physicians, peers, patients and family members. Completes other duties as requested/assigned.
Job Opening Qualifications
Education
High school diploma/GED strongly preferred. If don’t have at time of hire, must receive GED within 1 year of hire.
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
