Job Opening Summary

The senior professional recruiter will be responsible for the recruitment process and drive initiatives to attract, recruit, hire and retain talent for UF Health Central Florida. In addition to having direct recruitment responsibilities, the senior recruiter will work collaboratively in the team in servicing the hiring managers, standardizing effective hiring processes. Develops relationships and assists and builds the university relations and high school programs to generate a pipeline for recruitment.

The core responsibilities include supporting a client group specializing in clinical professionals, encompassing tasks such as analyzing staffing patterns, assessing needs and formulating both short- and long-term workforce plans. Moreover, the position entails devising innovative sourcing strategies to address critical staffing requirements. Specific duties involve managing requisitions/positions, participating in recruitment events, conducting interviews in compliance with relevant laws, and producing recruitment reports. Additionally, the senior recruiter will take charge of identifying and collaborating with universities and educational institutions. They will also act as a reliable resource to lead talent acquisition efforts under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition leader.

Education

Bachelor's degree required or 8 or more years of specific health care recruitment experience can be substituted in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English. 5 years or more of experience in recruitment with: Knowledge of HR employment laws and regulations Ability to maintain objectivity and confidentiality Commitment to equity in team member relations Demonstrated ability in the areas of customer service, critical thinking skills, and interpersonal skills (both oral and written), with poise, tact and diplomacy; or 6 years or more of combined health care operations and/or health care recruitment experience.
