📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
THE FOCUS IS YOU
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated International Tax Manager to help lead our growing International Tax group. This position will focus on executing International Consulting & Compliance to our corporate clients along with international matters related to individuals. As our UHY International group of member firms continues to significantly grow, you will gain exposure to a variety of complex international tax projects and unique situations, while leading and mentoring the growth of less experienced staff.
WHAT YOU WILL DORegular duties include (but are not limited to):Prepare and/or assist with complex tax returnsDemonstrates knowledge of all technical aspects of the job, including related knowledge of necessary systems and proceduresHandles more complex tasks and projects within discipline/ functionReviews work of less experienced staff and shares knowledge to develop staff technical skillsEnsures top quality client service and oversees client service performance of staffAssists management in planning and managing engagement activity and follows through to achieve resultsBuilds client relationships and maintains smooth working relationshipResponds timely and accurately to internal team and client requestsSeeks new ideas and better ways of accomplishing job and company goal
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience5+ years in relevant positionPublic accounting or other professional services environment preferredEducationBachelor’s DegreeLicense/CertificationCPA License is preferred but not required for this roleMust progress professionally by obtaining relevant certification as soon as possible if certification is not already attained in order to advanceMust maintain required CPE credits annuallyLegal/ComplianceMust complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards documentGovernmental engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government
