Sales Representative

Looking for a service centric sales representative in Rancho Cordova for a wonderful client.

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for serving customers by selling products; meeting customer needs, providing excellent customer service, and working in a team environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Sell products and/or services to meet the customer's needs
• Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers they come in contact with.
• Maximize sales performance through strong relationships with clients and awareness of their needs, both existing and potential clients
• Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur
• Follow company cash, credit, and check process procedures
• Processes cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at the point of sale
• Complete training courses or classes assigned by management to maintain proficiency outlined in the job description
• Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales and activity quotas
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company and its products, research consumer needs, and identify how our solutions can address those needs
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and quarterly portfolio
• Work closely with other departments to make sure the customer is getting the correct product
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice

Qualifications

• Two years sales specialist/agent experience
• Excellent computer skills and strong attention to detail
• Able to take direction and follow instructions
• Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
• Preferred knowledge in auto parts
