We are currently looking for a supervisor who is safety-conscious and willing to learn and grow with the organization. The incumbent must be willing to work any shift.

Experience

Working in a plate processing, forging, or forming facilityWorking with ASME Section 8 Div 1 forming and welding practicesOrganizing material flow and inventory to reach production targetsOverseeing the health and safety of employees as well as ensuring that quality processes and procedures are adhered toExperience using lean tools such as 5S and KaizenMaintaining production schedules through effective supervision and coordination of direct reportsIdentify problems and propose solutions and/or improvementsControl costs within their area of responsibility to include labor and shop suppliesCoaching and training employees and promoting growth within the business

Skills And Education

High school diploma or equivalent2-3 years of leading, coaching, and mentoring in an industrial facilityExcellent computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook and ExcelCritical thinking skills as well as the ability to manage their time and be detail-orientedListening and feedback skills to communicate with employees, peers, and others respectfully and effectively in the organization
