Embedded within our network of affiliated OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one stop solution for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.
Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Park Ridge,IL.
The Mammography Technologist is a Radiologic Technologist who performs Mammography procedures at a clinical and technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Mammography Technologist administers ionizing radiation to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease through 2D/3D imaging exams. The Mammographer ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers. When not performing mammography exams, the technologist will assist the operations manager with quality requirements and general administrative duties to complete patient care.

Retention Bonus: Must attain 120 hours of work to receive a $1,000 retention bonus.
Responsibilities
Take Mammographic Images/perform quality control on the unitComplete Patient Information Requirements and PaperworkConverse with Radiologist about Mammographic ExamsSupport manager with EQUIP and MQSA requirements
Additional Job Functions
All other job requests as assigned by the Manager of Mammography QA, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator
Qualifications
ARRT Registration R.T.(R) RequiredARRT Certification in the Registration of Mammography (M) RequiredMinimum Two Years' Experience in a Mammography Position PreferredState Department of Radiation Control License as Required by Location of Practice
