From the exceptional service at the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes making sure your checked bags arrive with you, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership role driving the decisions on new processes, tools, reports, dashboards, insights, etc... to improve efficiency for Systems Ops Control (SOC), Above the Wing (ATW), Below the Wing (BTW) and other Operational departments around the system in the field and at Network Ops Control (NOC) and Corporate Support Center (CSC).
Develop new and recurring reports and insights for Airport Operations senior leadership in SOCs, ATW, and BTW leadership, business partners, flying partners, and other operational divisions as neededAdminister and manage fixes and enhancements to existing performance reportingDevelop and communicate operational reliability insights for senior leadership, including materials for Performance Council and STAR meetingsPartner with Network Planning to lead the gating of future flight schedulesManage the gate fit processAd hoc analysis related to improvement of process, reliability, competitive performance, etc.Lead SOC shift and vacation bidsSupport in operational roles to support zone shift coverage in the SOCMust be willing to fully train as a Zone / Gate ManagerHandle analytics reporting for APU usage insights and develop/enhance our reporting interfaces (dashboards and emails)

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree3+ years of Analytics experienceMust pass technical skills test (Excel, SQL, Power Point, etc..)Airport Operations experienceDashboarding and Data Visualization experienceTask/System/Reporting Automation experienceIntermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of toolsIntermediate knowledge of Spotfire or other dashboarding business intelligence toolsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
