Job Description
We are looking for a Sterile Processing Instructor to join our team on a per diem basis.
Clinical lab instruction is from 6pm-10pm Tuesday and Thursday on campus. We are looking for an experienced Sterile Processor to be available for call offs and vacation coverage.
Instructors in the Sterile Processing program provide students with the knowledge, technical skills, computer information processing skills, and work habits necessary for entry-level employment as a Sterile Processing Employee.
Providing hands-on classroom instructionMaintaining and updating course syllabi; assisting in the development of new curriculaCover all material in depth and scope as described in syllabiUtilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of studentsPreparing and utilizing approved lesson plansEvaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectivesPreparing student progress reports and grade reports; maintaining accurate and timely attendance recordsAttending faculty meetingsFollow the school academic policies at all timesOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sterile ProcessorTeaching experience preferred but not requiredAbility to create and maintain relationshipsMotivated, self-starterExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to organize and prioritize workflowAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work independently
