UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Marshalltown, Iowa.

UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown just opened a new hospital in Marshall County in April 2022, offering the latest technology and state-of-the-art medical facility. In addition, it has primary care clinics located in Marshalltown, Conrad, State Center and Tama-Toledo and an Express Clinic in Marshalltown.

Join our team full-time at Iowa Veterans Home service line in Marshalltown in partnership with our IMPACT team in Waterloo, IA Provider will have the honor of treating residents onsite at Iowa Veterans Home (IVH) in Marshalltown, IA755 bed facility located on 150 acre campus serving 500 residents 4-day flexible work week 7AM-5PMSupport will come from IMPACT provider colleagues, IVH Medical Director, clinical staff, and UnityPoint Hospitalist team in Marshalltown.Full scope of x-ray and laboratory, and pharmacy services on-siteIVH offers nursing, medical, rehabilitative care, and mental health servicesFully integrated system with clinic and hospital on Epic EMR to improve care coordination.

Responsibilities

Average 15-20 patients dailyCurrent schedule 4-10-hour weekdays1:8 weekend call rotation and 2-3 nights per month sharing with IMPACT Waterloo providersManage care, acute visits, and procedures if interestedability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serveOpen to change and process improvement Participates in meetings and plays an active role in building a partnership with IVH

Qualifications
