📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: To ensure that service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt, quality beverage selection, purchase, preparation and presentation. Guests and Team Members will experience a friendly, upbeat and clean atmosphere. Welcomes and connects with every guest to provide excellent customer service. Discovers guest needs and appropriately suggests products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals. Assists guests in selection and purchase of specialty beverages, food and merchandise. Responds to guest needs and says thank you to every guest. Maintains guest service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner. Takes care of individual guest requests and meets their needs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares all Starbucks beverages using repeatable routine and sequencing all the time. Prepares all beverages to standard and hand out quality drinks every time. Presents oneself professionally and creates inspired moments in each guest’s day using the four pillars; Participate, connect personalize and own. Follows policies and procedures for operational flow at each station. Maintains a clean work area and immediate surrounding area. Follows standards for merchandising, inventory stocking, recording, rotating, and storing all products. Follows established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Six months to one-year previous food and beverage experience preferred.
