📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The laboratory of Dr. Wondisford and Dr. Radovick in the College of Medicine-Phoenix is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Technician III. Dr. Wondisford and Dr. Radovick recently joined the College of Medicine-Phoenix to continue their biomedical research projects funded by NIH. The laboratories are in the newly renovated Biomedical Science Partnership Building (BSPB) in the downtown of Phoenix along with new equipment and friendly crews.
Dr. Radovick is interested in the molecular mechanisms of Kisspeptin in hypothalamus to regulate sexual development and related metabolism.
Dr. Wondisford studies the molecular mechanisms of glucose homeostasis and thyroid hormones in metabolic disease such as diabetes and fatty liver disease.
Successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team within the setting of an outstanding new facility with capabilities in imaging, flow cytometry, bioinformatics, high throughput screening, phosphoproteomics, and other advanced approaches. The position is part of a well-funded research program and will provide the opportunity to produce high-impact publications and establish a record of grant award funding. Enthusiastic applicants with experience in Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Chemistry are encouraged to apply.
