Position Description
The Department of Health Professions Education (HPE) at the UofL School of Medicine invites applications for Part-time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the following program areas:
HPE ResearchInterprofessional educationSimulation in HPETeaching and learning in the health professionsHPE Leadership
Minimum Education And Experience
Terminal degree is required. Highest graduate degree must be in the field of study or a closely related field with clear justifications on qualifications. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Expectations
Instructors are expected to submit course syllabus, order textbooks or other reading materials, provide developmentally meaningful feedback, present engaging learning experiences, respond to students in a timely manner, communicate regularly with designated academic program director, maintain collegial and respectful relations with members of the UofL community and external stakeholders, and submit course data and final grades within university deadlines, and comply with other requests as a part-time lecturer such as completing an attestation disclosure form.
Salary: Salary based on a per credit hour value and number of students enrolled in the course.
