Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be used to offset the educational requirements.
Position Description
This position will entail performing cellular biology and animal experiments related to a NIDCR R01 grant; ensuring appropriate data storage and presentation. Major skills include cellular biology, histology, immunology, molecular biology, cell culture, ELISA, blots. Must be able to work independently and mentor students. The project will take place within the Oral Immunology and Infectious Diseases research group at the School of Dentistry.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct research in the field of cell biology, immunology and molecular biology in consultation with the PI. Maintain experimental animals, perform bacterial inoculations and dissect tissue. Organize data collection related to research projects. Prepare written reports and documents pertaining to data management, research methodology, and study resultsRead background literatureMaintain relevant training and complianceMaintain laboratory biological and chemical stock materials

Target Compensation Maximum
$77,600.00
Target Compensation Minimum
$51,700.00
Compensation Will Be Commensurate To Candidate Experience.
