πŸ“‹ Role Overview & Responsibilities

Duties will include: serving as the key advisor on all division business matters to the Department Administrator, Department Chairperson and Division Head; maintaining primary responsibility for developing the annual budgets for Pediatric Division of Neonatology and for securing and managing all fiscal (clinical and/or research related) and human resources for assigned divisions or programs; strategic planning, oversight, coordination and management of all clinical, research and education activities of the divisions to ensure efficient operations; and other duties assigned.

Duties will include: serving as the key advisor on all division business matters to the Department Administrator, Department Chairperson or Division Head; maintaining primary responsibility for developing the annual budgets for multiple divisions and for securing and managing all fiscal (clinical and/or research related) and human resources for assigned divisions or programs; strategic planning, oversight, coordination and management of all activities of the divisions to ensure efficient operations; and other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualified candidates will possess: Master’s degree from accredited college or university in Business Mgmt, Healthcare Administration, or related field, minimum, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience; minimum five years proven experience in a physician health care organization; minimum three years’ experience in a mid-level or higher management role, specifically handling clinical business operations and HR issues; strong PC proficiency; knowledge of computerized billing systems; general knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding; strong understanding of health care insurance; importance of compliance with all government regulations regarding medical billing.
