Job Description
The psychology technician is responsible for administering and scoring psychological or neuropsychological tests. Work is conducted one on one with patients face to face or through a video meeting. This position works closely with clinicians, researchers, and co-workers to provide essential cognitive and psychological assessments to Missouri residents.
Job Responsibilities
Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests in Columbia and our satellite clinic.Prepare a written and detailed summary of test results and of patient's behavior during testing.Maintain electronic record of tests administered to patients.Rescore tests administered by co-workers for accuracy and appropriateness.Perform related duties as assigned.
Shift
Monday – Friday
7:45am – 4:45pm
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.Knowledge of psychological testing procedures and examinations. Ability to establish and maintain effective contact with patients during the administration of tests. Ability to interpret standardized mental examination.
Preferred Qualifications
Some course work in clinical psychology preferred.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Anticipated Hiring Range: $14.00 - $17.59
