Business Process Lead (Remote)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a Business Process Lead, you will play a vital role within the CFO’s organization by ensuring the seamless execution of operational projects and initiatives. This position bridges the gap between business requirements and technological capabilities. Embedded within the finance teams, the Business Process Lead fosters collaboration and a cohesive working environment, acting as a vital connector among departments, stakeholders, and project teams. This role is pivotal in facilitating communication, collaboration, and problem-solving efforts to achieve project objectives. You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing departmental resources, coordinating resources efficiently, and maintaining harmony within teams towards achieving collective objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Optimization:Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Office and departmental team leaders to outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements. Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities amount team members. Cultivate a supportive environment where team members are encouraged to share opinions, concerns, and suggestions on optimization efforts.Organize and facilitate departmental team meetings to drive operational priorities and foster an environment of open communication and collaborative idea exchange. Operational Coordination and Execution:Oversee the day-to-day operations of Finance priorities within the department, identifying and leveraging opportunities for cross-functional collaboration to align business goals and technical implementation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects. Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, or bottlenecks to minimize project disruptions.Work closely with team leaders and managers to address any issues or challenges that may impact team cohesion or productivity.Facilitate system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to support the team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field.Proven experience in project coordination, facilitation, or administration.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with diverse range of stakeholders.Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent facilitation and mediation skills, with the ability to lead productive discussions and resolving conflicts constructively.
In-person Preferred, and virtual considered, the incumbent may be asked to travel occasionally to Charlottesville.
