Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Head Coach, assist with the responsibilities of a Division I Men's Basketball program in accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations. Areas of responsibility may include: recruiting, organizing and conducting practices, scouting, conditioning, performance of administrative and public relations duties, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Collegiate coaching experience is preferred Ideal candidates should demonstrate the following: the ability to foster team competitive success while maintaining a strong emphasis on the personal development and academic achievement of student-athletes; excellent communication skills to work with student-athletes, other coaches, and administrators; knowledge of and experience with NCAA and Big Ten rules.

Conditions of Appointment: This is a 100% Limited appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
