Company Description University Park Dermatology & Medical Spa is a full-range dermatology and medical spa located in Sarasota, FL. Our office is dedicated to providing the highest quality cosmetic and general dermatology services in a warm and personal setting. We offer comprehensive general dermatology services including pediatric and adult dermatology, skin cancer screenings and surgery, MOHS micrographic surgery, and psoriasis and vitiligo laser treatment. Additionally, we provide medical-grade cosmetic procedures and aesthetic services to help our patients look and feel their best.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant at University Park Dermatology & Medical Spa. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including medical assisting, medical terminology, medical office management, patient care, and maintaining medical records. The Medical Assistant will work closely with the medical team to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications Medical Assisting, Medical Terminology, and Medical Office Management skillsPatient Care and Medical Records management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsKnowledge of medical procedures and terminologyExperience in a dermatology or medical spa setting is a plusCertification in Medical Assisting is preferredAssociate's degree in Medical Assisting or related field is a plus
