Unknown Studio is a mission-driven practice for landscape architecture and urban design based in Baltimore, Maryland. We are dedicated to creating spaces that inspire dialogue, stewardship and awaken human connectedness. Currently our studio is engaged in a variety of cultural and public projects at all scales, including: Druid Lake Park Landscapes (Baltimore, MD); Vero Beach Museum of Art (Vero Beach, FL), Nasher Haemisegger Sculpture Garden (Durham, NC), Harborplace Waterfront (Baltimore, MD), Dickinson College Landscapes (Carlisle, PA) and Pikesville Armory Revitalization (Baltimore, MD)
You
An entry- or mid-level designer looking to collaborate on designs for large-scale public space and cultural projects, in addition to smaller scale gardens and parks that are heading into detailed design.
Both positions require a
Love of landscape architecture
- Professional degree in landscape architecture (BLA or MLA)
Collaborative spirit
Proactive work ethic
Proficiency and confidence with design and graphic skills (AutoCAD, Adobe suite required, Rhino preferred)
The mid-level position additionally requires
Three to five years of professional landscape architecture experience
Project Management Experience (master planning and design documentation)
Client Management / Presentation experience
An ability and desire to mentor
