Assistant Director of Development

Join us at URIFAE as Assistant Development Director for the College of Business! We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to contribute to our fundraising efforts, supporting URI's mission to shape future business leaders and scholars. Reporting to the senior director of development, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying potential donors, cultivating relationships, and securing charitable contributions. Key Responsibilities:· Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, focusing on major gifts· Collaborate on fundraising strategies and initiatives for the College of Business· Become a subject-matter expert in the College of Business· Participate in donor outreach, engagement, and stewardship activities Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree is required.· 2-3 years of development or related experience preferred· Strong interpersonal and communication skills· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 Benefits:· Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.· Generous paid time off and retirement savings programs.· Three days in-office, two days remote work schedule.
