Cashier/ Food Runner/ Dishwasher

Position OverviewThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job. Cashier Responsibilities:As a valued member of the cashier team you will add value by working in one or all of the areas of work below. We provided a brief description of the positions. Upon hire a detailed job description will be provided. The description below is not all inclusive it is a brief summary. 1. Host greets every guest and answer their questions. Host hands out menus to guest and provides traffic control for eat in and take out orders. 2. Cashier answers any questions the guest may have about menu items, accurately takes their order, suggestively sell items as appropriate, and ensures that customer is 100% satisfied with their order. Order taking can be in store or via phone for pick up or delivery orders.

Food Runner Responsibilities:Organize walk in and put deliveries away and date all food products.Assist the kitchen with daily prep.Setup the expediter’s station.Help make roll ups for kitchen utensils.Fill to-go supplies in the kitchen and pack to go order for customers.Hot items (i.e. egg dishes, pizza, soups, etc…) must be taken out immediately.Check food for quality and presentation before serving to guest.Greet guests in a professional manner, deliver food, ask for additional food requests and always Thank the guest and ask them to “enjoy their meal”.Serve food to guest using a napkin to hold plates, making sure order is complete, ask guest if waiting for additional items and if not, pick up the number.Deliver utensils, napkins, condiments and side items as needed.Pre-bus tables (Full hands in, full hands out)Help guests with water refills on return trips only.Bring cakes and pies to the kitchen as needed.Make sure that the guest gets everything they have asked for, like extra dressing, extra plates, etc. Ask for guest satisfaction.Inform the Manager immediately about any problems with outside food, outside drinks and smoking.Inform Manager about additional food requests.

Dishwasher Responsibilities:1. Setup and fill dishwasher machine. Check chemical levels to have enough for the day.2. Set the silverware soaking station.3. Setup 3 compartment sink following posted instructions.4. Setup container for broken or chipped dishes.5. Sort dishes and dispose of any chipped or broken glasses and dishes.6. Wash dishes and stock dishes at front line using small cart provided. Make sure cart is clean and in good condition.7. Put away large containers upside down and organize racks.8. Make sure not to throw anything in the trash (forks, knives, spoons and ramikens)9. Check sanitizer every hour. For dishwasher is 50-100 ppm and for the 3 compartment sink is 200 ppm.10. Follow the 3-compartment sink posted procedures and clean and change the water and solution as needed.11. No extra towels in the dishwasher area.12. Wash coffee pots every night and puro caffe every Tuesday and Saturday night.13. Close down, clean area and empty the dish machine.14. Check with manager every day and throughout your shift for ANY additional duties needed for your shift. “These duties could change on any day”. General and Safety:Use safety belt and safety shoes at all times.Use hand truck to move or lift anything over 15 lbs.Must perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and handling of materials. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.The position requires lifting of 25 lbs. anything over 25 lbs. assistance will be given to you.Watch for wet floors and spillage, put signs and dry immediately.CLEAN AS YOU GO! Watch for food, debris and objects on the floor.The position requires the employee to be friendly and courteous.Our Guests always come first!At all times SMILE!
