Marketing Assistant

Responsible for the development and execution of strategies to promote products and services, enhance brand visibility, and engaged with target audiences.

Works to support the Marketing Communications team. Conducts research and assists with marketing campaign creation, market research, data analysis, and event support.

Pay Range: $18.00 -$20.00/hour

Essential Functions

Assists in gathering and analyzing market research data to understand target audiences, competitors, and industry trends, providing valuable insights for marketing strategies.Complete various marketing operation projects with the Marketing Manager.Assists in the creation of marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with the brand's visual identity.

Social Media Management- Manage all Ridout Lumber social media accounts. Update photos, post, design advertisements on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis with help and guidance from other team members to increase and improve the presence and image of Ridout Lumber.

Website Management – Manage the Ridout Lumber website. Manage and update content, photos, links, etc. on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis to improve the search engine rankings.

Marketing and Customer Growth – Analyzing the current marketing efforts put forth by the department, and communicate any potential improvements to strategy, reach, and customer acquisition. Discuss ways to increase project opportunities and future customers with Ridout Lumber.

Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
