Chemist III (Customized Empower Report Validation)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Duration: 6 months contract, Full-Time
Employment Type: W-2
Job Description:The Chemist III will create and validate electronic calculations using Empower FR4 Reports within a cGMP environment. Experience with custom calculations is required.
Key Responsibilities:• Method validation, clinical testing.• Routine testing.• HPLC, CE and icIEF technology.• Create report, communication, global team.• Test method validation.• No testing, desk work, paperwork validating test method.• Creation of Empower reports including custom calculations for HPLC, CE-SDS and icIEF technology.• Validation of customized Empower reports.• Authoring cGMP documents in support of Empower reports.• Impact assessment of test methods revisions against Empower reports.• Understands, implements, and maintains cGMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures, and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.• Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks within required timelines and works with others to accomplish business objectives.• Revises procedures as necessary and provides continuous improvement support for the department.
Basic qualifications:• BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or equivalent science degree and 5+ years of related work experience.• HPLC, CE or icIEF experience in a cGMP required.• Empower software experience required.
Preferred qualifications:• Experience in cross functional roles or responsibilities.• Quality Control lab experience with clinical and commercial products.
