Lab Technician
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Duration: 6 Months contract, Full-Time
Employment Type: W-2
Responsibilities:· Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.· Some data interpretation required.· Coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer application. Should have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech.· Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter).· Should exhibit good problem solving skills.· Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.
Skills and Experience:· Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing is preferred but not required.· Basic HPLC instrumentation in a laboratory setting· Data acquisition software (Chromeleon, Chem station, Empower)· GMP Laboratory Setting experience.· Wet Chemistry techniques· HPLC / GC testing and/or data
Education:· Bachelor degree and 3+ years experience with HPLC.
