USLI, an A++ AM Best rated insurance company, is seeking results oriented,driven and assertive candidates for an exciting career opportunity which includes a unique combination of sales, underwriting, and customer service. Candidates will be responsible for initiating interactions with insurance agents and prospective policyholders to discuss recently issued insurance quotes with the goal of driving increased sales. They must be able to project the “USLI Experience” by providing excellent service. This position requires a positive and friendly attitude, a high service mindset, strong verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities. The ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential to success. Extensive training and ongoing support will be provided with a focus on sales skills, insurance product and underwriting knowledge, team processes and workflows as well as various computer applications.
Minimum Requirements
At least two years prior underwriting or sales experience in Commercial Property & Casualty, Personal or Management & Professional Liability lines
OR
At least five years prior business experience.
Successful candidates have had prior business experience in the following industries:
Other insurance experience (carrier or agency) such as insurance customer service or claims handlingFinancial services, such as banking, mortgage underwriting, financial consulting, asset management, business analystLegal services, such as attorney, paralegal
