Pediatric Pulmonology – UT Southwestern Medical Center – Dallas, TXThe Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is in search of exceptional individuals to join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine. Successful candidates will be integral to the expansion of our division, which oversees two inpatient services. Additionally, faculty members play a vital role in the outpatient pulmonary clinics at Children’s Health Dallas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Inpatient coverage at Children’s Health Dallas with rounding on a dedicated Pediatric Pulmonology floorPulmonary consultation services throughout the hospital, including consultations from the PICU, PCICU, tertiary level NICU, and various general and subspecialty areasSupport one of the largest Cystic Fibrosis Centers in the nationManagement of outpatient clinics focusing on high-risk asthma, aerodigestive concerns, sickle cell conditions, neuromuscular disorders, primary ciliary dyskinesia, mechanical ventilation, and general pulmonologyActive engagement in a comprehensive sleep program, overseeing a 24-bed sleep center spanning two campusesActive participation in educational programs, contributing to the learning experiences of pediatric residents, fellows, nurses, and medical students

Ideal candidates will possess a track record of academic excellence and a dedicated commitment to providing high-quality patient care and education. A special interest in niche conditions such as rare lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia are considered added bonuses.

Eligible candidates must qualify for licensure in the state of Texas and hold board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Pulmonology. Academic rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
