Ideal Candidate:Previous airport experience with the understanding of the requirements and constraints of working in an active airport environment or similar (i.e. health care)Experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager or Superintendent

Responsibilities:Determine and define scope of work and deliverablesDevelop Project Management Plan (PMP) for assigned projectsProvide Construction Management oversight during all phases of the projectWork with the contractor and design team obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisitesDraft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirementsManage costs in order to meet budgetSelect and manage subcontractor and supplier relationshipsPrepare, maintain and control project schedules and budgetsCoordinate and interface with the Client and project teamIssue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelinesEnsure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codesCoordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, subcontractors and Client stakeholdersProvide change order analysis and recommendations to ClientCoordinate and interface with the Client and project teamPrepare bid packages and assist with contractor procurementReview and approve contractor invoicingLead project progress meetingsEnsure product deliverables meet quality standards

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture10+ years of experience in project management within constructionCertified Construction Manager (CCM) and/or PMP certificate highly desirableThorough knowledge of utility scale construction projects, including feasibility, estimating, and schedulingExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Project. Knowledge of and experience using variousComfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawingsContract Management Platforms and Primavera (P6) software is a plusMust be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with little or no direct supervision in a fast-paced work environmentDemonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principlesAbility to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costsHigh degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditionsStrong leadership and management skillsMust be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with little or no direct supervision in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to manage large and complex projects with multiple stakeholdersComprehensive understanding and application of project management principles, processes, and proceduresProficient leadership skills, including effective conflict management and influencing.
